When you really, really want a burger, nothing else will do. Next time that craving strikes, be ready with these freezer-friendly chicken patties. They can be prepped and saved for up to a few weeks so that all you have to do is pop a few on the grill when you’re ready to eat.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground chicken
1/4 c. diced red onion
1/2 c. lightly packed fresh cilantro, diced
1 egg
1 lime, juiced and zested
Salt & pepper
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1+ tsp. cumin (we like a lot of cumin so I usually sprinkle extra in)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and form into four burgers.
Place a large skillet or grill over medium high heat.
Add the burgers and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
